Tecnoscienza is a scientific journal promoted by STS Italia and aimed at offering a reference point to all the scholars who, in researches and reflection, deal with the relationship between science, technology and society.
The Journal has initially been conceived as semestral, exclusively on-line and following an open access policy; it is managed by the Editorial Board and by the International Advisory Board, numbering relevant national and international scholars in the field.

In the context of "Philosophical Prize Castiglioncello" (this year dedicated to the theme "Aesthetics and New Technologies"), a jury composed of Massimo Bergamasco (Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa), Elio Franzini (University of Milan) and Joseph Varchetta (formator), assigned the prize "on-line journal 2012" to TECNOSCIENZA. The award aims to "point out of proven quality, open access scientific journals, which promote, collect and make available free ideas and relevant studies". We think this is a result that worthily celebrate the first three years of the journal and thank all of you who as authors, readers and/or reviewers have contributed in boosting TECNOSCIENZA. The award ceremony was held Friday, November 23, at Castello Pasquini di Castiglioncello (Li). Paolo Magaudda was present, as coordinator of the editorial board, to receive the plaque and present the journal. |
